Little bit about our free themes

by Thomas Arie Setiawan — July 8, 2006

Our free theme collections have been downloaded by bloggers. I do not have know exactly how many people downloading the themes... Ten? One hundred? One thousand? I have know no idea.

We are having quite many feedbacks. Some posted in the the forum, and some passed their comments and questions by email. I tried to give my best answers. Probably not all questions can be answered... sorry for that. So, if you have questions before, or you want to ask, here are some information that probably cover the non-technical theme-related questions:

  • If you download them, they are yours. So, if you have download them, you have all files, text and information needed to use/and modify the themes. You can use it for free.
  • Modifications. Of course you can modify them. Any modifications. It is much better if you can have more beautiful sites using our themes -- of course after you modify them. Everyone wants to have theme that works, right? If you have your theme works work you -- even it is not ours -- we are happy for you... :)
  • "Can I remove the 'theme designed by...' line?". Yes, you can. I can not force you to leave the credit, absolutely not. So, if you like the theme, use it. If you do not like to have a backlink related to the theme, remove it.
  • "I made some modifications on the theme, and want to redistribute it using a new name...". Wow, really? Please do. Do not forget to read the previous information.

"You write that because you are a new millionaire?"

Heh? I received some questions about that too. Many people use our theme, many people donate, and we become a new millionaire. Like this? Sorry, you're wrong. :) To whom it may concern: your donation was the first donation, and the only donation we receive until now. Thanks alot!

We will not stop making another new themes. We will do it in our free time. We will try our best to answer your questions, reading your feedback...
