
Mosaicmiro Palladiana is a company selling mosaic products for wall and floor. Its head office is located in The Netherland. I met the Mosaicmiro owner in Indonesia, and during the process, we use email to communicate.
What we do is creating a new site uses HTML as the language. Before, Mosaicmiro Palladiana site was using Flash. Our client, Mr. Herman, wants to have a new look, more contents, and "easy-to-navigate" site, and (of course) updated contents.
The first priority is to redesign the existing site that uses full flash animation. All contents are made in flash.
Mr. Herman has many great product pictures. And he made sure that people can have the products exactly like what he offered in the website. He took note on this: "Keep it sharp, keep it real".
The gallery section has big roles in the product selling. Mosaicmiro wants to have good image quality. We cropped, retouched and made some corrections to keep them sharp and real. "What customer see, is what customer get."
At first, I did not have many information to put in the website. I have many pictures, but less texts. In the discussion, Mr. Herman said that they can provide some basic (but important) information that can be put in the website. Unfortunately, I did not speak Deutsch. Fortunately, Mr. Herman speaks English.
We suggested some basic information structures like: 'What to put in about page', 'What is in welcome page', etc.
