Last September, we made an experiment to use Amazon S3 service with CloudFront. The idea was to distribute the contents of my client's site to reduce the server load. We heard many positive comments about Amazon AWS, and we decided to try it.

Today, our friend at Fashionese Daily posted a news about MAC in Mode event. Hey, it's not that Mac, it's about MAC Cosmetics. We worked together with Fashionese Daily to create the microsite.

I just realized that it's almost a year since we subscribed to Flickr Pro account. I looked up our Flickr account, and see some numbers. Here's some statistics.

Hey, we have uploaded more than 1,000 photos to our Flickr account! So far, we're happy about it. There are many Flickr users that have more than 1,000 or more, but for us... it's an achiement. :) Anyway, when we upgraded our Flickr account to the pro version, we got an offer to get some printed cards from MOO. Two weeks ago (June 19th, 2008), Lala use this offer. And she already got the email confirmation, saying that the order had been processed.

First, we're helping Hanzky -- hey, congratulation for the new baby! -- upgrading the server and also the forum. All processes were done without major problems. After having a discussion, Fashionese Daily came into decision to upgrade the server. It has more RAM now. After the upgrades, the website (especially the forum) run smoothly even on peak hours. Anyway, according to vBulletin forum statistics, there were 541 online users.

After being with Movable Type for the last three -- or longer, I think -- I decided to move to other platform. Now, my blog (not this blog!) is powered by WordPress. That's our first news. :)

Last month, there is a new mass transportation model launched in Yogyakarta. It's Trans Jogja. Right now, we will not go further writing about how this i-think-good-solution works. We would like to share about how we built the website. :)

Our Flickr account is about to reach its limit. Right, we're still using the free version. So far, we love it! I mean, we love the service, but we have the limit. ;) Of course, upgrading will be an option later.

Jumping into internet brought many changes in our life, including "payment experience". When we joined the crowd, running a small business and service, we -- like or not -- must deal with various payment methods.

A-not-easy-to-answer question. Seriuosly. But, if we have to answer that question, there are two blogging platforms come to our mind: WordPress and Movable Type. Not only because those are our favorite platforms, but also those are platforms we're familiar with.

Yesterday, I just made some changes on My City Blogging, one of Asia Blogging Network's channels. And, this is one of the busiest channel in the network.

In the last two weeks, I kept myself busy doing a redesign for Asia Blogging Network. The main goal is to have a better content management in site using WordPress as the publishing platform.

We will not make a new record about my laziness updating this blog. We will not go away too far from blog. My blog (and also my girl's) were regularly updated.

I was thinking about "What if there is a site giving information in Bahasa Indonesia?". The documentation (English version) is there. Tag reference also available. But all in English. I am talking about giving information to people. To be more specific, to Indonesian bloggers.

Preparing documentation about Wordpress import to Movable Type.

Last year, I joined Textplates, a Textpattern theme competition organized by Thame of erraticwisdom. It was a great competition. In this competition, I submitted three themes in different categories/topic.

Finally, my favorite blogging platform (Movable Type) releases its latest distribution: Movable Type 3.34. When I tried the previous release, until 3.34 Beta 2, I found that the stable release would have many improvements.

This January, many blogging platforms/applications releases their new distribution.

I want to be able to work in an efficient way. I want to be able to jump quickly to a spesific pages/setting. I want to rebuild some templates and weblogs. I want to close comments and trackbacks easier. Can I have those things? Yes, I can.

William Pramana told me that LifeBiscuit (his company) joined Ubuntu Marketplace now. Hey, good news! Congratulation!

He is using Expression Engine. When we finished our work, all works. Nobody likes to have things not working properly, right? Then, I checked his website to find out the exact problems. The problem is: I always get 404 error (Page not found).

Today, I made some changes in my weblog. Not major changes. I only added a new section called "Bookmark". And, this is my first trial combining two weblog entries in Movable Type 3.31.

No, we will not leave this blog and Orangescale.COM site static. Yes, we are here now with a new design. It is simplified, and we reorganized the information in this site. We hope you like it.

I am not sure when Avianto told me about tumblelog for the first. He mentioned about project.ioni.st. And few weeks ago, I try to install a new tumblelog using ozimodo. The installation is easy, editing the themes is also easy. No hardwork. You can have your ozimodo-based tumblelogs in few minutes.

We would like to congratulate Ninit Yunita for her latest novel "Mendadak Dangdut".

We are working on some sections now. The forum is not there yet, themes to download also not yet available. We''re working on it...

We love blogs and we love modifying (and also creating blog themes). And, I think I made more themes for my own blog, rather than creating free themes. Why? Simple answer: We want to give something back to the community.

I do not use WordPress to build my personal site, but Lala does. By default, there is only one 'Sidebar'. But what if we want to have more than one sidebar?
