In the last few months, many important people in Indonesia started blogging. It’s a good thing of course. Many people will speak for themselves. Okey, let’s see some of them.
- Yusril Ihza Mahendra — The former state secreatry minister of Indonesia started his very own blog last November. We involved setting up his blog together with our nice friend Vavai. I myself do not post comment on Mr. Yusril’s blog, but I definitely look closely on what happened on his blog. Being man behind the scene is a benefit. No, I am not talking about the economic aspect, I am talking about what I can learn from it. I learn about some difficulties experienced by new bloggers, the phenomena of conversation through commenting system, etc. I also learned that Mr. Yusril Ihza Mahendra is a friendly person. Visit his blog at http://yusril.ihzamahendra.com/
- Yusron Ihza Mahendra — deputy chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR)’s Commission also joined the blogosphere. You can visit his blog at http://yusronihza.com/
- Dian Sastrowardoyo becomes this week’s topic among Indonesian blogosphere. Her blog receives a HUGE amount of traffic. Her blog uses WordPress as the publishing platform and the design process was fun. It was challenging. I wrote a little bit about it on my other blog in Bahasa Indonesia. Her blog is at http://blog.diansastrowardoyo.net/
- Lastly, I heard from Dian Sastro’s blog also that Wulan Guritno also starts a new blog at Blogspot. You can read more about Wulan Guritno at imdb.
Who’s next? :)
